On-Site Mobile Shredding

On-site purges using our mobile shredding services are ideal for clients that find themselves needing large volumes of records destroyed in an occasional purge.

These purges can be yearly shredding of documents no longer legally required to be held, monthly purges of non-critical correspondence and working files, or out-of-date documentation.

IDSS routinely provides community shred days with our 5 ton mobile shredder around Vancouver Island. Many of these events raise funds for local charities such as the North Island United Way.

Due to popular demand Island Document Storage and Shredding now offers weekly (as well as monthly) paper shredding console service to clients in Nanaimo, Ladysmith and Duncan.

Frequent service runs are made to Nanaimo, Victoria, Courtenay, Comox, Duncan, Campbell River and points in between. Give us a call to schedule a purge date. Our mobile shredder will come directly to you and you can witness the destruction of your records.

Mobile Shredder

In order to speed up the process and save money, we recommend that you remove large pieces of metal , binders and spread out any tightly wound till tapes. Staples and small clips are ok to leave in. If you don't have the time to do these things, let us know and we will schedule one of our representatives to be on-scene to help with this during the on-site shredding (an hourly rate is applied for this additional service).

A certificate of confidentiality and destruction is provided at the end of the process.
